Primary Election Day, Tuesday, May 20th

Primary Election Day is tomorrow, Tuesday, May 20th and I’ve been asked by lots of people who I am voting for. I normally don’t go crazy and shower candidates with ringing endorsements but I can talk about a couple people who I feel I have a lot in common with and agree and support several of their beliefs and platforms. I believe in the following candidates and feel they will become an impactful representation of our area in Washington and in Harrisburg.

Brendan Boyle – United States Congress – District 13

I feel that Brendan truly speaks for the middle class. Brendan is currently the Pennsylvania State Representative for District 170th (covering parts of NE Philadelphia and Montgomery County). His campaign focuses on tax reform and closing the growing wage gap. Brendan also supports greater funding for K-12 and higher education. In Congress, I believe Brendan will work towards advancing social equality for all Americans. For more information about Brendan Boyle, click HERE to visit his website.

Art Haywood – Pennsylvania State Senate – District 4

I met Art a couple times and support several of his campaign agendas.  Art is currently the President of the Board of Commissioners in Cheltenham Township.  Art’s main focal points are getting our state to raise the minimum wage, better funding for public education and creating working relationships in Harrisburg. I believe Art will also be “accessible” and listen to us and carry our thoughts and ideas to the State Capital. For more information about Art Haywood, click HERE to visit his website.

Tomorrow, I hope you take this opportunity to get out and vote and choose the candidate who will best represent your family and loved ones, your neighborhood, Township, State, Country, and more importantly, you.
